About GetCasa: buying property in Portugal, safely, from anywhere

GetCasa is a relocation and property-buying service for international buyers moving to, investing in, or finding a place in Portugal. We are a licensed real-estate mediator (AMI 24277), and we build every purchase around independent checks, so you know exactly what you are buying before you sign.

How we protect you

This is not a listings service. Every part of the process is built around the real risks of buying at a distance:

• An independent survey. Once your offer is accepted, an independent civil engineer inspects the property in person and gives you a full written report before you sign the promissory contract. If something is wrong, you can renegotiate or walk away. Why the survey matters.
• A lawyer who works for you. A regulated solicitor from our panel reviews the title and the contract, acting solely in your interest, not the seller's. Your first call with them is free.
• Your budget first. Our credit partners assess what you qualify for, including income earned abroad, so every property we show you is genuinely within reach. Mortgages for non-residents.
• No surprises. Scouting, negotiation, survey and legal work are staged into clear milestones, so you always know what happens next and what it costs.

How it works

1. Discovery call. Meet your advisor. A free initial call with our panel solicitor is available, along with an affordability check.
2. Budget matched. Our credit brokers assess what you can buy with before the property search begins.
3. Curated shortlist. We source 3 to 5 vetted homes matched to your approved budget, on and off market.
4. Offer and negotiation. Once you choose a property, we submit an offer and negotiate on your behalf.
5. Independent survey. A civil engineer inspects the property and delivers a full report before you sign the promissory contract.
6. Contract to keys. Your panel solicitor manages the promissory contract and completion, and the home is yours.

GetCasa is not a law firm, engineering practice, lender or financial adviser, and does not itself provide legal, surveying, credit or tax advice. All fees and terms for third-party services are set by those providers and disclosed to you before you commit.

Every legitimate estate agency in Portugal must hold an active AMI licence issued by IMPIC, and you can verify any agency's number for free on the official IMPIC website. Ours is AMI 24277.
