These terms apply when you use getcasa.net and the GetCasa booking pages. Get Casa Unipessoal Lda ("GetCasa") is a licensed real-estate mediator, AMI Licence No. 24277, NIPC 517962756, with its registered office at Edifício Uptown, Estrada de São João, 13, Bloco A 4R, 9000-123 Funchal, Portugal. If you become a client, your service is governed by the written agreement you sign, which takes priority over these terms.
1. What this website is
This site gives general information about buying property in Portugal and lets you book a free discovery call. It is not a property listings portal and nothing on it is an offer to sell or a binding quotation.
2. Information, not advice
GetCasa is not a law firm, tax adviser, engineering practice, lender or financial adviser. Guides and articles are general information that we try to keep accurate, but rules, taxes, fees and visa conditions change. Check anything that matters to you with a regulated professional before you act. Figures and dates are examples and may be out of date.
3. The discovery call
The discovery call is free and carries no obligation. You become a client only when you and GetCasa sign a written agreement, and our service starts only after the agreement is signed, the upfront fee is paid and your identity has been checked, as anti-money-laundering law requires.
4. Fees
Our fees, when they are payable and what each covers are set out in your agreement before you pay anything. Prices on this site are indicative and exclude VAT where it applies. Lawyer, surveyor and other third-party costs are separate, and each provider is independently regulated and answers for its own work.
5. Using the site
Please give accurate details and use the site lawfully. Do not try to disrupt it, probe it for weaknesses, copy it in bulk, or submit someone else's details without their agreement.
6. Our content
The text, design, logo and photographs on this site belong to GetCasa or its licensors. You may read and share links to our pages, but you may not copy or republish them commercially without our written permission.
7. Other websites
We link to official and third-party sites (for example IMPIC and government pages). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
8. Our responsibility
We take care over what we publish, but the site is provided "as is" and we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or removes rights you have as a consumer.

10. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you have a complaint, write to info@getcasa.net and we will reply promptly. As a consumer you may also use the Portuguese complaints book (Livro de Reclamações) and the EU consumer dispute-resolution routes that apply to you.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page, with its date, is the one that applies when you use the site.
